Welcome to Brackendell Boarding Kennels & Cattery in Waikato, New Zealand.
The Boarding Kennels and Cattery have been established for over 50 years, we took over the business in June 2009 . We have a cat of our own and over the years have owned seven German Shepherds, the majority of which where adopted through the German Shepherd Rescue Trust. We also foster for the German Shepherd Rescue Trust and local pet rescue groups as we are able.
Boarding Environment
From the start our aim was to provide a low stress boarding environment for all pets. We believe we have achieved this by open communication with pet owners and putting your pets wellbeing above all else. On the whole, we have a quiet kennel environment because dogs are supervised and are able to play or rest at their leisure.
Dogs are only kenneled at night unless the weather is poor. Paddock exercise offers the opportunity to run and explore a different environment. These things are key to reducing stress and noise levels in a boarding environment.

Our hours for pet pick up and drop off are:
Monday - Saturday 8 am - 9.30 am and 4pm - 5.30pm
Closed Sunday mornings
Sunday afternoon 4pm - 5.30pm
